kongamato
The kongamato is the favorite steed of the Gnath. Once as small as any other vilekin, generations of selective breeding has resulted in the large and peculiar creature that is most often seen in the southern reaches of the Gyr Abanian Peaks, when they are not being piloted about the Dravanian Forelands by their masters. (1)(2)
The life cycle of the kongamato begins fully underwater, where the larvae feast on frogs and fish; after growing to several fulms in length, they retreat briefly to a pupa, before emerging fully formed in adulthood. This process is quite intense, given the size of the vilekin, and so only the Gnath see fit to keep them domesticated. (1)(2)

Known species/types of kongamato:
Gwas-y-neidr
Kongamato are quite large for vilekin, and Gwas-y-neidr is large even for they. Given the species' practice of the females consuming their mates after concluding their nuptials, she has feasted on many a poor fellow. (3)

Combat rating: 70, B-rank
Special notes: Gwas-y-neidr has two particularly vicious attacks. Tail Nipper has her roll her abdomen under so as to sting her foe from underneath, while Ultravibration showers those around her with disruptive aether. Take care not to be frozen, for whatever reason, should she unleash this latter attack.
Kongamato
Breeding creatures for size and strength is all well and fine if one can keep them domesticated, but let one escape into the wild, and it will become a nuisance right soon. So too with the kongamato, which plagues the residents of Ala Ghiri as they move about their plateau. Clan Centurio regularly issues bounties on the vilekin. (4)(5)
(4) FATE: Forget-me-not
(5) Centurio hunt: Kongamato
Habitat: The Peaks, Wightrock
Combat rating: 68
Special notes: The kongamato's attack called Ultravibration is a disruptive shower of aether that can shatter anything too rigid to vibrate with it. This spell is oft sought by blue mages for that very reason.
