Fluturini
While most vilekin earn their kinship by a loathsome appearance alone, the fluturini proves that vileness is more than carapace-deep.
The beautiful wings of the fluturini are alluring to the eye, appearing like floating jewels or stained-glass windows, but they are in fact covered in scales, which shed from the wings like dust. This dust, in turn, is like to do more than cause sneezing and dry eyes, for it is often quite a poison to one and all (though not so toxic that alchemists do not prize those scales. (1)

Adult fluturini lay hundreds of eggs per day, in an effort to outpace the ravenous appetites of the scavengers who would eat them. But in late years, those predators have been much hunted, and so the hatching, hostile fluturini must be culled. (2)

Fluturini
The vilekin whose name stuck as the general class name dwells mostly in the northwestern reaches of the Peaks of Gyr Abania. As deadly as beautiful, the fluturini is oft set a bounty by Clan Centurio, particularly as their numbers will easily explode out of control if unculled. (3)(4)(2)
